What is pool and what are showreels?

From all films received, every year we choose about 30-50. These films form the "pool" and are separated into different compilations, the "showreels", each about 1 hour long. There is a new pool and new showreels every year.

At every event that EMERGEANDSEE organises (London, Berlin, and Budapest), the team of that place chooses films from this pool to be screened at their event.

When distributing films, EMERGEANDSEE offers the showreels to be screened by cinemas and festivals.
